ASB hosts an international case study contest!

C20 Transformational Technologies for NGO Societal Impact: Call for Case Examplers

An Initiative by the Technology, Security, and Transparency Working Group

The contest seeks to

  • showcase ideas on how technology development impacts NGOs’ work.
  • identify policies to aid technology-led transformational change in the NGO ecosystem for better social impact.
  • increase the awareness and engagement of postgraduate students with NGOs.

We invite submissions of exemplary, highly innovative and transformational technology-led initiatives undertaken by NGOs. We invite recommendations on policies related to access and use of technology for NGOs to attain their goals and social impact. Cases relating to frontier technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Assistive/Wearable technologies, Robotics, and many such emergent technologies are encouraged.

C20 India 2023 is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20 that provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world to voice the people’s aspirations to the world leaders in G20. The Working Group on Technology, Security and Transparency will focus on advocating access to and the use of technology, enhanced security, and improved transparency for advancing societal wellbeing.

Application Criteria:

Open to all MBA/MTech/Research Scholars, including PhD students who are enrolled in a post-graduate program.

Each entry is limited to a maximum of three applicants. 

All applications will have to be submitted online. 

Key dates:
Case Submission Opens: Monday, 5th April 
Case Submission Closes: Friday, 28th April

Prize Money:
First prize: 25,000 INR
Three Consolation Prizes: 10,000 INR

Winning cases will be invited to be showcased at the C20 – TST International Conference at Coimbatore – on May 13-14th, 2023.
The first-named applicant of all prize-winning cases will be invited to present their case at the TST International Conference.
