On 10^th of March 2023, Friday we got a chance to talk virtually with our alumni Mr. Govind Krishnan, employee at Hitachi Energy working as Marketing Manager with 7+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development.  This Google meet was organised by our Placecom team and the agenda of this session was how to improve your resume and what can you do to make your resume different. There were more than 100 participants who attended and found this session interactive and informative. The speaker was especially polite and he was so dedicated to making us learn with his own experience as he actually showed his resumes from the initial stages of his career and how he made changes accordingly with time. He explained all the do’s and don’ts with detail. Many of the things were new for me which we cannot even think of. The most unique thing I found was he showcased his own mistakes and from that he taught many things. From finding his first resume to explaining all the terms regarding the resume shows how much effort he did put to help us. The one thing he said which he will never forget was “Always have gratitude”, which means that always start with others and always carry gratitude. Other than that presentation,  he was straight to the point and easy to understand. I will definitely take all his suggestions to make my resume stand out from others and look forward to attending more sessions with him as he creates friendly meeting. The other great thing I found was whenever we asked questions in between he was replying with such an ease and in detail. I thank our faculty Mr. GopaKumar and our Placecom team for arranging an informative session and also looking forward to having more sessions with him.
