The TaMal Girl and her Venture

Will I be able to do it? Will I get a good response? Is this a good idea?

Every individual has similar questions in mind when they venture into a new endeavor. My mind was preoccupied with similar doubts and thoughts.

I saw the pandemic as an opportunity and looked at it with an optimistic view. I pushed my boundaries in an attempt to prove to myself that I could do this, something that I had perceived to be impossible before. Binge-watching on OTT platforms and youtube widened my horizons. “Doing what I love and loving what I do”, kept ringing in my head.

After much contemplation, I finally decided to begin my youtube channel – TaMal Girl (which means Ta-Tamil & Mal-Malayalam). I wished to focus on my uniqueness – being brought up in an environment that included beautiful souls from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Hence, my targeted audience were both Tamil and Malayalam-speaking individuals.

At first, I planned my video based on product reviews related to cosmetics, skincare, makeup tips, and hacks. Since I love traveling, I intend to deliver travel vlogs and food reviews in the longer run. Through this endeavor, I learned to set goals, manage my time effectively, and structure my thoughts with clarity in every video that I posted. With 450+ subscribers and over 60 videos, I felt satisfied and am encouraged to achieve better in the future. I am sure that I have a lot more to offer, and there is still more to come.

This TaMal girl voices this opinion out loud from personal experiences.

“If you are passionate about something, age or time does not matter. You will be able to get there; you just need to hang on despite the pitfalls with utmost truthfulness to your conscience. Hence NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS”

If this TaMal girl can do it, why not YOU?
